They order on your site.It prints in your kitchen.
SERVD is the ordering system for independent takeaways. Your own ordering site, your own customers, your own card rate — and the order on the kitchen screen and the printer the moment it is paid.
How it works
- 1 · Your ordering site, in your own name. Customers order from you, not from a marketplace that rents them back to you. Their order history and their phone number stay yours, because the shop is yours.
- 2 · Paid orders land on the kitchen screen. No tablet farm on the wall and no re-keying an order someone else already took. It reaches the screen and the printer at the same moment, so the kitchen never waits on the counter.
- 3 · The delivery apps come into the same queue. Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat orders arrive on the till and the kitchen display alongside your own — one queue, one prep order, one set of times.
You keep the customer
A marketplace order gives you a meal to cook and nothing else. An order through your own site gives you a customer you can tell about Friday's special.
Your own drivers, on the map
Assign your own drivers and the customer watches their food come to them — rather than waiting on a rider you cannot see and cannot chase.
Food safety records included
Daily checks, fridge temperatures, allergens and the inspection pack — kept as you go and exportable, instead of a folder filled in the night before.
Where it is up to
SERVD is running in real takeaways and is not generally available. Card payments are being switched on shop by shop rather than all at once, because the account checks behind them are per-shop and we would rather do them properly than in a batch.
We take shops on a few at a time so each one is set up properly — the menu, the prices, the allergens, the printer — instead of handing over a login and wishing you luck. Put your name down and we will come to you when there is room.
